SFDS - Software Functional Design Specification Produced by Max Wright Systems & Software department for use by the customer and the software engineers. This document details the system architecture, PLC I/O, control philosophy and HMI/SCADA screen dumps. This document is very useful for the customer because it is designed to leave the client in no doubt about the how the software will control the plant. This document is used by the software engineers to produce the code. |

O & M Manual - Operation and Maintenance Manual For use after the the control system has been installed and commissioned, the O & M manual is for the operators and engineers of the plant, it provides them with information about how the plant operates and how to keep the plant maintained. A description of the hardwired controls, software controls and the component literature is included within this document. |

Workshop Test Certificates Used by the workshop staff to make sure that the control panels are manufactured to our own high standards. Not only do they check that the electrical circuits operate correctly, but they also check for paint condition, correct labeling, wiring apperance and connections are as recommended by the component manufacturer. All these checks mean that the panel that is supplied is of the highest standard and as reliable as possible. |

Site Test Certificates Used by the site staff to make sure that the control panels are installed and commissioned to our high standards. These certificates ensure that the panels have been re-assembled correctly on site and they are also used to create a record of commissioning and how instruments and components are set up. |

Site Reports Used by the site staff to keep a record of instrument and component settings, and to record the progress of commissioning and installation. Any software or hardware variations that take place on site are documented on site reports for inclusion into drawings, FDSs and manuals. |
