MPS™ - Forms Of Separation

The Modular Panel System can be supplied in forms 1, 2, 3 and 4 types of separation.

The form 4 types of separation available are detailed in the table below:

Type
Termination
Busbar Segregation
Form 4 Type 2
Terminals for external conductors in the same compartment as associated functional unit.
Busbar separation is by metallic rigid barriers or partition. Cables may be glanded elsewhere.
Form 4 Type 3
Terminals for external conductors in the same compartment as associated functional unit.
All separation requirements are by metallic or non-metallic barriers or partitions. The termination for each functional unit has its own integral glanding facility.
Form 4 Type 5
Terminals for external conductors are not in the same compartment as the associated functional unit, but in individual, separate, enclosed protected spaces or compartments.
Busbar separation is by metallic or non-metallic rigid barriers or partitions, terminals may be separated by insulated coverings and glanding common cabling chamber(s).
Form 4 Type 6
Terminals for external conductors are not in the same compartment as the associated functional unit, but in individual, separate, enclosed protected spaces or compartments.
Busbar separation is by metallic or non-metallic rigid barriers or partitions, terminals may be separated by rigid partitions and glanding common cabling chamber(s).
Form 4 Type 7
