Systems & Software is a department of Max Wright Limited, control panel manufacturers. Systems & Software designs and develops PLC, SCADA & HMI software for industry. Our strength is our wealth of PLC, SCADA, HMI & comms experience coupled with Max Wright Limited's experience in industry, which makes for powerful and reliable package. All our software engineers have an electrical background and are capable of completely commissioning an entire MCC including electrical controls and software. All our software engineers are capable of programming using IEC-1131 compliant languages and many other languages.
HistoryMax Wright Systems & Software was established when PLCs started to be fitted into Max Wrights control panels. This enables Max Wright Limited to provide a complete package for the customer. This eliminates all possible communication problems that are sometimes encountered between software developers and the panel manufacturer. It also means that the software and the control panel are designed with each other in mind. Systems & Software have a working knowledge of all the main PLC manufacturers products, which enables us to program whichever PLCs are required by the customer.FutureWith the massive expansion and increasing high profile of the internet comes web based SCADA systems. Which should in some instances remove the need for an on site SCADA system and computer. With operators and managers able to see and control the operation of a site from anywhere in the world. This is still an emerging technology with most of the major PLC manufacturers introducing systems now or in the near future.Ways of communicating to PLCs and their associated equipment is constantly changing, Max Wright Systems & Software has managed to get a working knowledge of the main networks and communication protocols and works continuously to improve the current knowledge. New networks/protocols are embraced and utilised where possible.
